Learn to Drive with PDA

Before you can start learning to drive with A3 Pro Driving Academy, you will need to be at least 17 years of age and hold a valid provisional driving license (16 if you are registered as disabled and do not require a modified vehicle). If you are not yet 17 don't worry, you can apply for your provisional license up to three months before your 17th birthday. So why not chose an instructor and get a lesson booked in for the big day?

How many lessons should I expect to need?

Driving Standards Agency research suggests that the current average learner will need 45 hours of tuition, with an additional 22 hours of private practice with a friend or a family member. However, in order for us to give you a more accurate idea of how many lessons you may require, please choose your age range but please remember that everyone learns at different rates regardless of age or previous driving experience:

17 - 29yrs | 30 - 39yrs | 40 - 49yrs | 50 - 60yrs

What car will I be learning in and how long is each lesson?

A3 Pro Driving Academy want to provide each pupil with the highest standard of learning and to have fun too!, that's why we teach each pupil in the latest Audi A3. Our current model is the Manual, 1.9 TDI Diesel with dual controls fitted  (so we can stop the car even if you can't!). We recommend you have at least two hours per lesson, although we can cater for pupils who only wish to do one hour at a time it's not recommended in the early stages of learning.

Who will be my instructor and how much will it cost?

At PDA we believe you should get the best possible experience from learning to drive, so unlike other driving schools we allow you to pick the instructor that will be right for YOU! rather than the instructor that's right for US! For more information on our instructors and/or pricing in your area, please visit our 'Meet your Instructor' page and see who you would like to learn with.
